Yeppers, you've guessed it, he's away again, I often feel the only time I have him home is when he takes leave.

I Miss You Babe &
I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing

Another time another day,
I think of you so far away.
I wish now that you were home,
but another night I spend alone.
In my room I’ll rest my head,
Laying on that welcoming bed.
I’ll call you on the telephone,
 I’ll tell you I wish I weren’t alone.

You’ll ask again what I have on,
I’ll answer just my ring, as I softly sing.
I don’t want to close my eyes,
I don’t want to go to sleep,
Cause I miss you babe
And I don’t wanna miss a thing.

The tears again will gently fall,
As I try to drift of asleep,
I’ll toss and I’ll turn all night,
While into my dreams I creep.
Another day, another trip,
Your job will take you away,
When I’ll be left here all alone,
Longing for your return each day.
When into my dreams you creep,
Without making a sound,
Fulfilling all my desires,
Until I awake and look around.
I’ll soon find that it’s a dream
and you are not at home,
I curl into my pillow with tears,
And know that again I am alone.

Rose--this one had me humming. All the elements of another great country song.
Though sad and lonely, you are also sharing with us your love.
Thanks.

It's no difference on this end. Only difference is I don't have the ability to put in down in such wonderful words.

Rose, goodness, this is touching! Your words allowed this reader to feel your loneliness and the pain you feel when your true love is away. I know each time he leaves you feel empty and awry and the sadness sets in. A heartfelt poem.
