Wolds Poetry...

The Gold Wolds
Lincolnshire

 Folds and folds
Of rolling Wolds
Are draped
and caped

In glimmering gold
A shimmering
Sight to behold
Before the rape is cut
And sold

Instead of carrots
Peas and sweet corn
Fields are adorned
With rapeseed spawned
Baking and taking
In the sun
Bred and spun
A new dawn of energy
Has begun

While wind turbines
Sprout about
Milling the wind
In and out
Of their turbines
Spinning,
Electricity pylons
Can still be seen
For miles on
Carbon sinning

Interesting perspective and would much rather see fields of sweet corn and peas....

Be always safe,
