Keep on versing.

Sooner or later your foot
will get in your mouth.
Then you'll have to taste
your own bull down south.
But less keep it on me,
the poets face you see.

I'm actually part black,
part Indian,
part white.
All this blood runs
in my veins.
I don't judge by color,
makes no difference
if you don't have a dollar.
Most of us are mixed,
some try to deny they're fixed

Here lately I've been
eating my foot.
Versing kind of
mean and negative,
I like love and positive.
But for some reason,
I've committed treason,
which to me
isn't so pleasing.

"Committec treason.."? NOT - you were just getting rid of frus--tra--tions, methinks. (you must not have read my "I'm Liberal and Proud" poem LOL) I'm enjoying your happier moments shared in your more recent poetry, OpG!! ('tho, honestly, I enjoy them all)

Love your versing. We all really come from the same mold-ADAM and Eve.Enjoyed

Writing, say I,is more than stringing together words, as you know.
It's sometimes digging deep enough to display your innards. By the
way, I'm mostly English, part Irish, and a fifth of scotch. - Gene.

Yes, OnePoetGem, keep writing...cleanse your feelings. We all have put our smelly feet in our mouths at one time or another.
