Santa Fe chronicles #44

O’keeffe worked in
charcoal
in times of crisis
and confusion
until she worked through it
then
she added
blue
for me
I will add words
later on

#45

Santa Fe is a wonderful town
full of whores and thieves

With its collection of art and artisans’
all the rendered whores ,quite pretty
Some of the whores, still
have hope
to sell
beauty abounds
endless in its vastness
artists of the highest
and then there is
me
mud on the  bottom of
their souls……..

#46

4 days of cold and rain
4 days of dark
clouds
but
when I read
your words
I can hear your voice
and I feel the
sun in the
snow fields….

#47

The 5 headed condom
there it lay
all flattened out
Deflated, wilted
plastered down
into the gutter
huge
wet
from yesterday’s
rain

Hi Stan -[

My first glance at the Sante Fe chronicles. I like the different curves you throw on Santa Fe. Follow that letter writer.

love,
Kathy

You convinced me, Stan, I'm boarding the next train
for Santa Fe. I love the writing. I like your style.

Your Santa Fe Chronicles are most interesting. And having just been there at Easter, I truly enjoyed them. Although I still like old Santa Fe, I think it, too, was a better place, in the good old days.
