My friend, mentor, co-worker and spiritual brother, Bill Joyce, passed away on May 8, 2008. He shared ministry with me at Christ the King Parish, Pleasant Hill, CA. As from a well, we
slake our thirst with his wisdom;
ad multos annos.
Ignatius smiles with
pride on him; ad majorem
Not walker, cane, or any old
pain can keep him 'way,
when homeless souls need shelter.
Angel in our midst,
like God’s warm embrace wrapped
‘round those who know him.
