I have been thinking about time and how it can be better utilized...Many thanks to a special lady for inspiring me to write this one......

Time should count for something,
not just idlenss and play

Time should be used wisely,
on any given day

When life has a purpose,
it opens many doors

Gives us encouragemnt to go on,
looking for much, much more

Set your sights on something
you really want to do

With God's guiding hand,
your spirit will be renewed

As days turn into months,
months turn into years

You've left a part of yourself
for many to see and hear

A beautiful woven tapestry
written with sands of time

Will be your lasting legacy
for future generations to find

WHAT A THOUGHT....ALL WE DO IS SPUN INTO A 'TAPESTRY' WORK THAT ATTESTS THAT WE WERE HERE AND WHAT WE DID. HOW VERY, VERY TRUE AND WE SHOULD TAKE CARE AND '....BE SO CAREFUL OF OUR BEHAVIOR HERE...'
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS MUCH ENJOYED WISE MESSAGE. GOD BLESS.

Since you told me about this one, I had to find and read it.
I'm so glad I did. It's chock full of Priceless counsel. The name, Tapestry of Time is inviting and appropriate. Thanks for sharing your wisdom so lovingly. Hugs, Connie

I had a message from Marcia Miles from England and it was so encouraging. I need encouraging people in my life as of now and always and you are one of the encouraging ones coming to me from the good Lord above. Like an angel you are giving and saying nice things to confort people and leading us on with your faith.

You sure a positive lady, I try to follow this but often feel the "grinding of the mill...".
One thing you have: in perfectly metered verse, you say wonderful, wise and supportive things.
Good luck & health, michael

"Tapestry Of Time"

"Time should count for something,

Wholeheartedly agree with the words you have shared MaryGrace. Excellent meter, rhyme and rhythm graces this penning. As you continue to be blessed and inspired it is said that the heavens open and blessings are poured out upon you. In caring, nurturing one another we are to bless and encourage each other in our lives. Thank you for sharing the wonderfulness that your heart is filled with and the tenderness of your words here at the den.

Always blessing and love,

MaryGrace,
This is a beautiful poem, filled with so much wisdom. It has always been my hope, as a poetess, that future generations stumble upon my words and that my words have as much of an impact upon them as they've had upon my own life and the lives of those who enjoy them, now.
Thanks for sharing this poem and I hope you are doing well.

All the best,
Jill

Well done my friend, a wise message written with love and compassion...as we grow older we realize that time doesn't stand still for anyone individual, it passes whether we want it to or not, we cannot go back but only forward, but it's always nice to recapture those special moments we've lived in our thoughts, memories, mind, and hearts...well done indeed!
Blessings from Ky.
