A kiss can be so enjoyable and yet, that same kiss can hold so much truth.

A kiss so tender and so right
Allows me to keep up the fight
When days seem dark, cold and alone
I think of the kisses I’ve known
Yet, none could ever rank as high
As our kiss when the day was nigh
The moment you confessed my love
Could never be risen above.

The sky that night was crystal clear
‘twas just we two; no one was near
The trees gently swayed to and fro
Beneath the waxing moonlight’s glow
You touched my cheek; then, warmed my heart
Our kiss was such a work of art
Perfectly crafted, warm and wet
A tender time I won’t forget.

A kiss so loving and so real
Shared in a setting quite ideal
Fitting the mood felt in the night
By two hearts with true love in sight
I think of that kiss and I smile
Grateful I’ve you to share each mile
Since knowing that you’re always there
Makes life much easier to bear.

THE kiss from that special someone ... brings a smile to my lips and a memory that time cannot erase. This poem is as beautiful as the kiss you have shared.

God bless you. Kathy
