Late at night,

In a darkened room,

My mind is in a fight,

To heal my gloom.

Voices argueing constantly,

In my weary head,

Not speaking too gallantly,

Left stuck in a confusion I dread.

The more I search,

Thru my corrupted mind,

The devil's lies try to perch,

To my bones I feel them grind.

Then I listen closely,

A still small voice,

" Don't let go of me,

Make my way your choice.'

I stop quickly,

All that lurks thru my mind,

I open up His book,

And there Peace I find.

Late at night,

In a darkened room,

He shined down His lite,

For my Joy to bloom.

All my troubles seem grim,

And my heart no longer tart,

The more I search for HIM,

The more I feel this Peace in my heart.
