My mind skipped over the stones

Watching  the  waterfall as the glint of  sun

Made white caps shine like fractured diamonds

And my mind became like a kalediscope

Seeing in facets that split into rays of sunlight

Which merged with the falls and followed

The wondrous water in  profusion and effusions

Of scintillation, played  magic with my emotions

As I lifted my mind to the power that pushed

The water into such cascading effulgence

I stood in awe of a  Creator whose imagination

Makes me yearn to see His heavenly creation

Beautiful poem celebrating Meditation on Water - I often used to like meditating on the ocean waves coming in on a sunlit afternoon or evening and it works... BUT We of Earth are the Stewards of these precious water resources (not Creator) and having just come in from my Lake yesterday I can say we are not doing His Will on being the best stewards we could be right now. Shame, because despite those "Eternal Waters" we still need to protect the life giving physical water too!
Just a "tributary thought" from your poem...michael

This is beautiful! I love the cascading thoughts, yet the thoughts that lead back to the source of the waterfall...that Eternal source...of the Living Water...

Stunning! I think this is one of my absolute favorites of yours...

I stood in awe of a Creator whose imagination
Makes me yearn to see His heavenly creation

Eileen,

All we have to do is look around at the Creator's gifts to us - His creations are majestic and wonderful to behold! I, too, love waterfalls - and His skies (unless they're filled with thunder and lightning - again, there is a terrible beauty to it, though) - His trees - flowers - sigggghhhhhh. This is a beautiful write. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
