When we write, we DO relinquish a part of slice of words at a time...but that's how we poets are. Can't help but share a wee your ADku reveals :o) Yet, we gain so much, too...

Few words but does express your feelings...there's no problem in wanting to be a private person, most of us feel the same way. I thought this spoke volumes in a few words.
