Vigilante Justice! War! Propaganda!
I remember red, vividly,
The blood upon his head, you see,
But not long thereafter, he was dead,
Gently I laid him on the pavement, all alone,
Long gone the ones, that smashed him with a stone,
I will pray, may they for their sins atone,
His sweet lips now whispered silence, quietly,
Only God could hear and see,
And me,
Vigilantes’ deeds, enraged by indignant justice fervour,
Do not see their own, but to others sins they’re clever,
Not their own, no never,
Popular enragement, feeds their fire,
Lighted by some perceptions ire,
A different view, make them a liar,
Sheep into wolfs they turn and growl,
A total change, like Saul to Paul,
Will any disagreement maul,
Entitlement from God they lend,
His justice to defend,
But usurp it in the end,
How dross, you know what Gods’ desires,
Most knowing are from liars,
Those stoke his fearsome fires,
Come now tell me true , and fast,
Fore it’s you they sue at last,
And now on you have judgement passed,
If one thing is for sure, God’s opinions are secure,
His being will for time endure,
Will not in time demure,
Not him justice brought but shame,
You’ve murdered in his name,
Who is next ,that you will blame?

Zowie, you look good in a fury, Jasmin. I can imagine God in judgemet, and you there to help carry out sentence on these self-righteous pigs, very often now the more clever among us who conceal in holy words the venom in their souls. How hard it is to be the one who holds the innocents slain.....Jerry

Your title tells it all...and your follow-through poetical words are remarkably so appropriate. How cowardly are the vigilante crowds, and gangs that terrorize many innocents. Yes, they are true terrorists! Well said, J-H!!

How so very sadly true, for far too many today.

Many took upon themselves the right of act and speak in the name of their God (whatever name they called Him) with that "Church-tocraty" that doesn't allow any kind of critic, with a tyranny of belief that they are right and the rest are wrong, that their interpretation of "holy" scriptures wrote by other kind of zelots are God's truth.
Beware of many preschers that carry in their hand the first stone, but behind their backs!

Very good Jasmin - and all of this is going on right now in South Africa - good timing.
