Yep, too many warriors gone to enemy guns, so very true, Eileen. Belief that there is more after this place softens the blow but the numbers of lost over the years is gut wrenching. Very well done, thank you for remembering them.

The bugle of rhyme sets this Memorial poem in granite. This is something grande that I would very much expect to see etched onto The Wall Memorial in D.C. Warriors commemorates all who have served our country proud, Eileen...you be well...

While my folks where on the losing site of the war, I still feel the sacrifices they made, deserve remembering, for brave soldiers they were, despite some wrong headed leadership, and since there are no glorious remembrances for those that sacrificed their blood for me, I do it quietly, with a picture of my dad, and celebrate his birthday the same time May 25, I lay out his medals in honour of the moment, God Bless Him, and all of you! and a Poppy for you Eileen,
