Fee & Deb just returned to Nova Scotia and I am missing them but not for long as I will join them next Sunday as long as they don't change their minds about me coming. lol. This was written with them in mind.

Still Making Memories

I rest awhile upon the blanket,
As I looked up in the sky.
The many figures that I had seen,
Just caused my heart to cry.

For there you were, with your smile,
That smile, Inviting and so clear.
Knowing it was meant just for me,
Made me wish that you were near.

I decided to play a little tune,
As I held my guitar in my hand,
Soon thought of the words to a tune,
Sung by a woman and a man.

Help me to understand,
The years that sat by the way.
The time that we have lost,
How can we make up for each day.

Two dear relatives lost in time,
Yet following the same path each day,
Writing words and caring,
Yet in the opposite way.

Can’t wait to share some time,
A smile, a hug or a song,
Making memories to fill in the past,
Two relatives where they belong.

Just keep making those memories. With each passing year the time lost is shortened.
Beautiful thoughts. So glad you guys had a great time. Too bad my video cam wouldn't work right. I really wish I had gotten to meet Deb.
Have a great time next week.

Memories are created in time with those who hold a special place in each others hearts. They may be continual and ongoing or they may be brief and soon run out of time. I know ours is the first one at least until the day that our time runs out on earth. Had a great time with you and Fred and will look forward to seeing you at the airport on Sunday
