Removing All the Cold

Love is so beautiful and healing.

Removing All the Cold

When I feel that I can longer go on, you are there with all your charm.
You pick me up in your gentle embrace, holding me tightly in your loving arms.
There’s no way I could manage to get through life, if you weren’t by my side.
Your love flows through my veins like a constant even tide.

You bring such joy to me when everything looks bleak.
When I feel lost and forsaken it is your love that I seek.
We were born for each other, to have and to hold.
When we are together, we are not affected by the cold.

So stay with me my darling, until this life on earth is done.
And we will have eternity to bask in the morning sun.
There is no where else I’d rather to be, than in your loving hold.
Where you are gently loving me and removing all the cold.

Beautiful sonnet... This is exactly how I feel about my hubby.

An acquaintance passed away a couple of weeks ago, and two days later his wife passed away. I told my husband that we should plan our deaths the same way! :~)... that way I wouldn't have to be without him for very long. I don't know quite how I would survive without him beside me...

This is a beautiful example of love and marriage, Bonnie. No where else can we find such warmth than in their hugs. Had that, and still feel it.
