Ode to Belly
... no, not the internal that growls
with hunger; the one that settles
low, softly around my hips. That
one: the one that cradled life; the
one that marked me as a mother;
the one that makes me an entry
into the world of the cursed --- you
fat slob. You have remained with
me, never abandoned me, through
diet and exercise; through plenty
and lack; through good times and
bad: faithful friend. And so I sing
an ode to tummy: I will love you
since no one else will accept you.

|I've got one too my friend! I like Michelle's thoughts on this, we are all different and not meant to be stick thin, oh well I look at my tummy and try to remember what I looked like before it....and I can't! It does serve as a great reminder that it helped shelter my two beautiful children and that I'm not twenty anymore but I'm alive! Loved this my friend...praying for you all tonight!
Blessings from Ky.

|Hey, we all have one and believe me not too many escape this world skinny, but we sure would miss our tummys if they had to be removed due to illness so I always am thankful for my spare tire.

|In a time of disloyalty, your tummy is always loyal. In a time of lies, your tummy never lies. Be glad you have it. Where would you be without it? Tummies make good pillows. :)|
