South of Texas

A poem from the collection of short stories, poems, and a novella entitled "One Hour", a way of life for the extreme party-goer and all you madmen who tend to be god.

South of Texas

We were here in your eyes

staring back into you

with a menacing gaze.

We were there in your mind

when we were children

and I was new,

yet still I did not forget.

We saw you born on the day of crying.

We looked through pane of glass at you

from a distance within yourself.

We were unable to discern

the child from the soul

or the man from the coffin,

so we packed you all together

in pail of night

and shipped you off to dreamland,

south of Texas.

Into the ocean waves of night, to sail a thousand times over, just beautiful....

Be always safe,

Excellent, Todd. I like the rhythm of your lines. I'll be
back for more. I may be mad, but I'm no god. Of vice vesa.
