My deepest sympathies for your loss. I know you've read this but I'll post it again,
Golden Shore
Although the sands of life have passed
And earthen days are through
Within the light that Heaven casts
We shall remember you
In every whisper of the wind
And memory we adore
While knowing we shall meet again
Beyond the golden shore.
Upon the breeze, a chorus rang
In perfect harmony
As angels spread their wings and sang
A blessed symphony
To welcome you into their Home
Where pain shall be no more
And, on the clouds, you’re free to roam
Beyond the golden shore.
While here on earth, we show our grief
We know that you’re at rest
And, in due time, we’ll find relief
Knowing that you’ve been blessed
By azure skies and verdant plains
The Lord made to explore
Until the day we meet again
Beyond the golden shore.

Dear Karla,
I am so sorry. There is a time for everything, they say. This is the toughest time of all. Take care of your broken heart. I'm not sure if I know Karen, I assume she's on the site - so please hang on to each other. Your dad will be back to kiss you when you least expect it. You'll always hear his voice in your ear.

My wholehearted sympathy goes out to you both, sweet friends. I know, all too well, that even if the physical separation is expected, even if we are conscious that it will come as liberation from a great and, sometimes, long suffering, we are never quite prepared when it finally happens – and the wait itself can cause us great anguish, for we can’t help dreading “that” phone call… which you and your sister have just received. However, this is not the end – it is just the closing of a cycle of transformation that begins when we are born, and will be followed by other cycles. So, take your time to grieve – to grieve at your own pace, and through whatever personal forms of expression in which you may find solace – and you will gradually feel the weight of the loss being lifted from your spirit, as it is replaced by the warm glow, gentle yet vibrant… of a constantly evolving celebration of Life and Love – for his Energy, his Light, is and will always be with you, around you, and IN you.
