Yosemite National Park – First Time Experience

 My brother-in-law, Stanley
took me to Yosemite National Park,
to a place I have never been.

 It’s where towering trees grow,

It's where the big bold rivers flow,

and where we met the bear, Gentle Ben.

Our horses were spoofed at the sight of Ben,

They took off for a spell

and got a little wild now and then

but it was exciting time

and we would definately do it over again.

The birds chirped loudly throughout the day,

the mighty majestic river water roared,

some gigantic squirrels came out to play

and they ate and ate like hungry boars.

We camped in a tent that was very bare,

deep in the valley among the trees.

We could smell the fresh pine in the air

as we told stories in the evening breeze.

God our father, made a heaven on earth

with spectacular display of colors that blend.

What makes this park so very special is

the calmess and natural beauty it all.

What makes this park better than the rest?

The answer is in the waterfall.

one of my personal favorites of all the national parks! There is so much there - waterfalls, trees, mountains, meadows...

Now I want to be there! Thanks for inspiring my memories!
