Dust to Dust

By: Fee

Some may judge me by their moral codes

That fit so snugly in their back pockets

As they smile secure in their goodliness

Like white lights glowing in their sockets

I know I do not fit their Christian mould

Or just perhaps the mould may not fit me

As I walk out side those stained glass walls

And allow my quilt work soul to roam free

I have read their book and heard their word

Then carefully chose the path that I would walk

Nay, no worship for idols false in gilded cage

Nor sermons by those who only talk the talk

And when I die committed to the bowels of hell

The paid for crematorium will satisfy my wish

As my mortality turns from dust to dust

My soul to transpose in silenced bliss…R.I.P.

Profound. Jesus would love you because he walked outside those stained glass windows also. So don't judge yourself so harshly. This poem is from a man who has walked the walk and not just talked. Your soul is a good one. I really relate to this poem, but I relate to a lot of your poetry. Liz

Fee,
Everyone must choose their own path. The uncertainties of life are the only things we can be sure of! Love the descriptions in this piece. Hugs:)

When the selfless gives openly and passionately as you do Fee, there is a heaven ONLY waiting to greet a man with kindness and sincerity! I do beleive!
We all have our own beliefs and when the passion is strong, nothing can anyone say sway it -- Being good to others is the biggest importance!
I want to be cremated and my ashes blown into a fire, with my loved ones standing around toasting me and my good life!
There are many who do what they do, follow services and lack the gracefulness in many ways after all their preaching! We hear everyday! Sad to say...

Smile - Your heaven is waiting up their in the vast heavens! Music blarring and many spirits rising...

Love and Hugs, Warrior Purple PaSsion Lady -She-
STay POsitive! and STay Strong! and SMILE!
P.s. Religion is turning many harden, cuz, of their lack of believing... Let us do what we can for our fellow man, our actions will speak for themselves! Wouldn't you think...Sweetie ~

Oh Fee, the only rosy coloured stained glass windows I see in church are the ones I look at through my Rosy lenses :):) Besides it is about walking the walk....talk is cheap, and there's far too much of it, so I don't blame you for feeling the way you do, and like Christine am noone's Judge, ( oh what a grizzly thought) I'd hate that job thanks..NO, you are you, we love you for who you are. Deb is right too, Religion is a deadend.. It's that personal one on one with Christ or BUST..I wouldn't bother if there was no Christ to confer with daily, it would all be blarney.
YOU take care sweet Fee, I hear some pain in there somewhere's, sending a big hug to yah ok. And Some Blessings as well matey.
Love Cherry pie.

Religion is man's way to God and Relationship is God's way to man. I see you have rejected "religion" -- good for you, its a deadend road. However, I pray that you someday open your heart to "relationship" which is the only thing that truly satisfies. Thanks for sharing. Deborah

You aren't going to hell Cuz because too many are living in he;; everyday of their lives with all the hunger, illnesses, murders, Etc. I could go on and on but you know where I am coming from. I do believe no one has to go to church to be a good person. I respect your beliefs but I happen to know you are a good person and would give your all for another and dear Cuz thats what counts. Another great write.
Love ya face Cuz XOXOXO, Rose

I'm Christian to the core, but I can respect others' beliefs and feelings; so were His teachings. There are one God, one Son Christians, and there are people who follow and live the christian teachings of the son; let us know both of these factors to be good and honorable. Above all, you have free choice and free will, rightfully so, Fee.
Blessings and Love ~~ Micke

That's the reason why we have free will, a choice to make and live and die by..... I personally have found peace in the love of Christ.

I believe everyone has a right to choose whatever
Path they want to fallow
And no one has the right to judge a person
Because of their beliefs!
I’m confuse I think religion has nothing to do with their
Soul, I believe in respecting everyone’s beliefs
It’s the beauty within your soul that I see
But Fee I read somewhere that we
Where already in hell, and it times its
Awfully hot here on earth lol
Peace Love and Hugesssss…..Morning star

The path less travelled? There are far too many willing followers who have never delved to the depths of Self to search out the truth residing in their own soul. Easier, I suppose, just to skim the surface and ride along others' words and ways - albeit many times blindly. There's nothing offensive about this poem; it's beauty lies in your spirit/your essence rising of its own accord.

If there is a Hell, I think many will be residing there, including so called 'self righteous Christians' who only follow his teachings when it suits their self interests.

It infuriates me when people judge & then cannot look into the mirror of their self. Some people learn nothing within the sacral walls of a church & merely "fopaw" the show of goodness like cheap fake diamonds & fools gold.
I will be cremated also but to become the Black Diamond for my daughters. That way I won't end up spilled on the floor & then in their vacum ;)

It is up to us to make our individual choices. I choose to believe; you choose not to. Not offended, just wish you felt different - still, I accept and love you as you are.
