I asked the impossible, and the impossible,
you gave.
Give me your heart, I said.
Your answer:  Try not to
Yours any time, my
friend.  Long as you need
my love.
Because you are poets, you have hearts
that give
rather than take.
Because you are poets, you stay
open.  No locks, no sticking, no
Because you have hearts that give,
because you stay open
twenty-four seven, you are
May your every wish come true .
More impossible, the better.

Beautiful. You are very giving so that is what you get in return. Your generous heart assures you of that. Love the love though. Excellent. Liz

A beautiful and heartfelt write my dear friend...may each and every one of your dreams come true as well! It's amazing how differently a poet sees life..even the small things are viewed with a comapassionate spirit, poets feel things with their heart and soul and they give the same as well! Reminds me of my poem A Poet's Life...enjoyed this much, very moving write!
