... I rest in comfort, in my Abba's arms ...
Image (c) 2007, Karla Dorman
|
Strange, how grief works --- one
minute, I'm fine, the
next, rivers of tears
puddle at my feet:
it will take time. But
for now, I'm at peace ---
he didn't suffer.
And as he's laid to
rest, so, too, am I ---
I rest in comfort,
in my Abba's arms ---
knowing I am loved.

This is absolutely beautiful, Karla! Written like one of Myrna B.'s tumbling tercets...
It gave me chills when I read it. Just stunning!

| Keep busy, that is my secret to grieve less, when I am occupied I don't think about it so much. Of course, times tears come and go that is natural. Take all the time you need to grieve too and don't let anyone tell you any different. Prayers are with you and one day you will be laughing again and going on with your life more than now. |

Karla,
God is watching out over you, as He should, and He knows the cries/groans of your heart. He will get you through this period of sadness; all you have to do is lean on Him and know that Daddy's no longer sick or suffering. That's what brings me the most comfort now; it will take time, don't rush it. Take one day at a time and know God is with you, always, especially during times of sadness! A most beautiful, heart tugging write; you've blessed me today! BRAVA!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :) >tears! < |

It's is our own comfort that needs solace when we say goodbvye to those we love. This is a beautiful pem about that loss and the comfort that can come when we are confident our loss is gone with our Creator./
