.....and then he popped the question

She had been waiting for this night
all her life
She had dreamt it, rehearsed it  over and over
and finally that night where all magic is born
was finally here--
in a closed restaurant with private setting
Never had he gone above and beyond like this
The night air smelled of love
and wise butterflies made their way towards the candles--
as if thinking here is a moment not to be missed
the wine reflected the shadows of the quiet moon
and somewhere in time back when she was only five
a little girl smiled, her dreams are about to come true
Nora Jones caresses the piano keys
she must have written the song for this moment
for every word fell into place in the space between them
how could he have been so divine
to mess with her heart and bring her to utter bliss
she had found her true Romeo
and as he stared into her eyes, hers glistened with tears
she smiled, he seemed content
and then he got down on one knee
reached into his pocket
and popped the question
"Do you think my eyebrows need more trimming?"
and as she stared in confussion
he revealed the tweezers  and began to do his facial!

(Lol, I hope you all enjoyed this piece(it's fictional by the way), I'm trying to analyze someone who is narcissistic, how dreadful huh? The poor girl....My first piece of humor I suppose...hehehehehe)

How delightfully funny! hee, hee, hee...
I guess it wouldn't be delightfully funny if it were true... I think you captured the narcissistic personality quite well... hee, hee...

LOL.....OMGawsh!! This was funny...Talk About A Man Full Of Himself! hee hee, and as for the girl, well I hope it's just that she is ego trippin or a bout of arrogance because a narcissistic personality can be a very serious disorder of the personality. They are totally complicated people, besides makin our skin crawl-lol

Love it Bernice and what a great build up to the finish, though any man who would prefer doing a facial on himself rather than admiring your pretty face is a dumbass that you are better off without. LOL
