A musing thoughts...

Teardrops Lost

By: Fee

Heavy sodden heart

soaked in the rain

of painful tears

draped in a flag

of bitterness

just giving up

not worth regrets…

Wow, this one's deep. Hope it's just the muse talking!
Love it, though.
Hope all's good.

Nice one. Love the imagery. Think it's better to remove the last line from the poem. It is not needed and the poem works better when it ends with the line 'just giving up'.

Like a soldier just back from the war, at Arlington one rainy day in front of the grave of his buddy, one was spared the other not...and yes, everybody's giving up because it wasn't woth the regrets.
Fee, few words that will reach many. Believe me.

Regret....oh the power of this reality.
Such a little word that can not ever be described to the endless depths of it's potent path. But that is not always a bad thing now :)
Great Write!

A life without regrets is an unlived life. Heartbreak included. As Rose said, tomorrow will be better we all pray. But we will return to the regrets and sorrow another day. Excellent. Liz
