A challenge put forth by Jill Eisnaugle

For rent, a poetic home

Children there raised

Learned to write poem

Since, from there, they have flown…

Around the home are sprinklings

Framed by the bard that did there reside

Might need a bit of work in the yard outside

But the interior feels of many years of love

Within, you may of the past collide…

No pain does this cute little home exude

Raised here my own little brood

Now only on holidays do they come for food

They still bring love & happiness here to include…

what a home, believe me Ed, they'll be eating more than versing, then they might get to cursing, if there isn't anymore treats, :-)

I want to claim possession of those two lovely rocking chairs and the porch (put a cooler full of Coors beer and ain't moving from there!)
But watch out for the vikings trailing back me, they are a bunch you won't believe.

Edvard the Elder

PS the food for the creatures will be provided by PeeWee!

A challenge well met, Bro, and just in time for the 4th of July holiday.

You can count on me and Mean Tall Woman and about a dozen of our critters showin up. And Brother Edvard will be flyin in with his entire clan from Sweden. And don't forget cousin Edwina and her twenty or so kids and grandkids. And please stock up on the good beer this time - we're all gonna be mighty thirsty. Thanks.

I love my family and while many of our relatives are up there in years now and don't travel as often, I enjoy hearing from them, even if only by Christmas cards, each year. I love your take on the challenge, Ed.

Thanks,
Jill

It is wonderful when they come home for holidays and bring all that love with them. How empty the house seems when they leave. Thank you for this Ed. Best regards, Bonnie
