...let our dreams inflame us!

~Waking Visions~

This day I tasted you... in memory's repose

Caught in time-stilled frames; you... my savored dish~

Involuntarily I am drawn again, into this restless mode

Where my breath relentlessly repeats my fervent heartbeats

Aching to convulse into the seizure of your embrace

Holding and clinging desperately to me

from the inside out - own me... as you always have

Imbibe the essence of my nectar amid our tryst

My tide is rising in a swell of need for the world to disappear

Save to quiver and to quake among your countless sighs

As I devour the depths of your depravity

Lips inflaming valleys as our peak insanely grows

Until we've blended, and the only thing we see... is 'us'

I long to climb inside your flesh, becoming part of you

Obsessed by cravings only you can satiate

Entwined inseperably with you until we cannot breathe apart

Until we've explored the edges of what we know we can become

as you take hold of what you've always had a right to;

This day I drank the liquid lust of my desire for you

Caught in waking visions... all too real to be a dream ~

Beatiful visual write, loved it in fact. Captured my heart and satisfied my longings. It is such a loving and feeling write, that is goes to the extremes of love and says as it should be with everyone who loves. **********

You Creatively and Vividly wove a dream which captured the reader into a aching trance of need that had to hurry onto bed and beg sleep just to satisfy and sate in blessed escape. Well Done! Deborah

Very cool format - reminding me of patterns in the sand. You are one heckova romantic poet Jeff. Always very consistent, too, whether you are exploring the yin or the yang. Thanks for a great moment!

this is molten at the very least, Jeff! I love the intriguing form you have chosem, too, to complement the impassioned ebbing and flowing, the rhythmic embrace. Makes me think of luscent candle wax and how it sticks so comfortingly like a second skin, it's searing heat strangely exciting. Great stuff! Kate xx

Extraordinary! It's an image of love between two things...the alliance superimposed on a pastel background would make fantastic stationary, Jeff! A great marketing slant is Waking Visions...be well always...
