Counsel sat around the table
Spoke of all that MAN was able
Presentations of decree
To legislate what life should be
A voice rang out
In riled dismay
Repugnant of these
Shells of clay
Cacophonous
The rabble brew
Division marked
Dissention grew
“Why should some
Be set apart?”
“Do we not breathe
Nor have a heart?”
“What manner differs
In each soul?
Are we not striking?
Fashioned whole?”
The horde rebelled
As malcontents
Deficient acts
Of eloquence
Besieging ire
A battle waged
When thunder clashed
One voice engaged
The silence, thick
In echoed hall
The ONE rose up
Addressed them all
Commanding tone
With stern expression
Asked the host
One poignant question
“Do you see the value
In what I propose?”
The group agape
In non repose
“In THESE, I took
The Angels grace,
Creature habits,
With Mine own face”
“And gave them, I,
Free will, to choose
Then drew the veil
‘Cross what they’d lose
To test their desire
And obedience
I gave commandments
With consequence
They’re not unlike
Each one of you
Yet they are blind
To Heavens hue
You now choose
A rebels stand
And dare to curse
What I call MAN
YOU who dwell
Within this hall
Arrogant, tho
You’ve seen it all
I say this now
But, listen well
Your end result
And choice is HELL
The absence of
My love and grace
No more to gaze
Upon my face
Man still has
The time and breath
To save their kind from
Immortal death
For this has always
Been My will
E’en thru their trials
Love them still
There is NO child
I’ll shun, for good
I ask you now
What Father would?”
