People with cancer feel so depressed most of the time. The pain that they go through and the uncertainty of seeing tomorrow makes them feel hopeless. A lot don't even have money for treatment. These people think that nobody cares. The poem below tries to give the reader an idea of how most patients feel. I hope that we find it in our hearts to help them, especially those who can not afford treatment.

I feel myself sinking
My body isnít mending
The time is coming
Time to stop pretending

Itís no use fighting
No chance of surviving
Life is losing its meaning
Time to stop pretending

Hope is quickly going
I will soon be leaving
There is no point in trying
Time to stop pretending

My body cancer is eating
I just sit here waiting
No one to give me loving
Time to stop pretending

With smiles Iíve been hiding
Caring Iíve been wanting
I am getting nothing
Time to stop pretending

The pain is increasing
My mind Iím losing
For love Iím craving
Time to stop pretending

My whole bodyís shivering
Attention Iím needing
My soul is screaming
Time to stop pretending

I canít stop crying
The end is nearing
I will soon be dying
