the sea

Affinity for the sea
The deep dark blue green sea

I’m a heliotropic lady
Living on clear quartz sand

I long for clear waters
And I know

The sea, the sun and the land
All parts of me.

When the sun sets scarlet
And the moon rises gold
The sea sparkles silver
And sings a sleepy song

I titled this "Sailors' Lullaby." Your verses reminded me of it as did the feelings that were awakened through them. Thank you for sharing this gift, Barbara. Love and best wishes,

Regis
