You who are jealous of every bloom

You who are wrapped in your old gloom

My memories are towers against the unending feud.

Compassion for the blossom;

The soil with my memories I kiss

And quicken with my tales of,

How it was, the heartbeats of the soil:

How it was, before we knew hate

How it was, before density broke the back of the tribe

How it was, before desires divided the flesh of the earth

And how it was, before children grew the beard.

I call upon every child of Adam,

Before worms crawl in their shrine

And in vain the wombs hug the unborn child.

And call upon those who read the Sign:

The cries of the prophet Nuh, what a sigh!

O you heedless Offender, lament and sigh:

The weeping sky,

Lament and sigh

The floating Ark,

Lament and sigh.

O Lord of the Ark!

O Designer of that Rescue Boat!

Build this boat, too, under the care of Your choice.

O you headless Masquerader

O you who hails from the land of wounds

You are the son of an offended mother

You are the husband of an unhappy wife

You are the father of a furious child.

O you wandering Pessimist!

At every step,

There's the sign of 'no to peace', on your door.

With every death,

There’s a child-turned-monster released on the soil.

With every bomb,

A bad deed is written in the sinner’s book.

O heedless Vagabond!

This ink is the offspring of a nation oppressed

So write it on every pathway..., on every pavement...

Write it: PEACE is inevitable...., PEACE is inevitable....

Hang it on every shrine..., on every partition...

PEACE is inevitable..., PEACE is inevitable....

This ink is the offspring of a nation oppressed.

O Veteran of missed chances!

This matter must needs be addressed.

Salutations and benisons of health and wisdom to Poet Safi Abdi.

Your courageous heart and clear vision are admired and respected. Much gratitude to You for bringing light to the realms of indifference and omissions.

"Compassion for the Blossom" flows on river of blood hoping to reach the ocean of peace. It delivers a message that can become a flag of the people.

On the day that "The Holy Lords" of Canterbury and of the Vatican decide to honor what they preach, the industrialists of wars, social unrest; and main terrorist cartel of the planet will no longer DBA as "The Five Permanent Members" of The United Nations Security Council. UN Security Council.

Viva the Poet!

In reverent appreciation,

Much wisdom to be found in this hard hitting thought provoker; we must all learn tolerance, or else we will never know peace. Very well penned; brava, Safi!

(((HUGS))), much love, and continued prayers!

As always, your friend in America, Karen Lynn in Texas. :(

Powerfully, sadly penned - particularly,

" ... You are the son of an offended mother
You are the husband of an unhappy wife
You are the father of a furious child
At every step, there's a sign, 'No, to peace' on your door
With every death, there's a child-turned-monster released on the soil
With every bomb, a bad deed is written in the sinner's book ....

This ink is the offspring of a nation, oppressed. ...
Write it: PEACE is inevitable. PEACE is inevitable. ..."

O, that mankind would learn the lesson you pen here - war, hatred is not the solution. Well done, Safi, may we all find the peace we seek -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

This is a powerful, beautiful poem - its foundation seems to lie in the truth that we cannot be "anti-war", "anti-hatred", but must refocus our perspective to be "Pro-Peace", "Pro-Love." For we ultimately attract unto our world that which we most focus upon and the Universe doesn't hear the prefix "anti." Thus, we shall write "PEACE is inevitable" on every pathway...
