|Beautiful, but I still prefer the coolness of Alaska (or anywhere, just as long as it's out of Texas!!)! Don't do the heat thing; never have, never will. As I get older, the heat bothers me more. I can't STAND to be hot!! ICK!!

|If you consider tidewater Virginia southern, I had a lot
of those hot southern nights as boy. The only thing I missed
perhaps was the country smells, which would have been smothered
in the smell of crabs and whatever was carried on the breeze
from the bay and the sea. Enjoyed your poem. - gene.
