mama has found herself a
big couch up there

when those hot flashes
would come upon her down here

she'd sprawl  on
her big couch
under a big wide wind

as she lay in  profuse respiration
my arms grew weary and tired

as the big brown box torn to the
shape of a fan, sway back and forth......

Splendid walk Louisa... Memories...they get sweeter with each year.

Thank you for your praying....He listens and He does. We speak and we believe.

"For truly I say to you, That whoever shall say to this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he said shall come to pass; he shall have whatever he said"

Oh, the memories... that brings back a few memories. Thanks for a ride down memory lane. Hot flashes are no joke.

A wonderful reflection...you take the reader there my friend! Reminded me of my mamaw and how she would fan herself with a piece of cardboard and drink an ice cold Dr. Pepper while watching Another World! Hadn't thought about that in a while...enjoyed the write!
Blessings,
Joyce B.
