A fictional romantic poem expressing how love might slip up on us if we don't beware.

There is superstition in
this world that can call,
to some it maybe
something or nothing at all.
I don't believe in superstition
knocking on my door,
it is realism that affects
my heart and soul to the core.

Love slipped right in my door
with my eyes wide open,
However I didn't have no
real problem coping.
History has left great romantic
examples to lead the heart,
Romeo and Juliet certainly
contributed their part.

I desire your tender kiss,
since I've never had it,
I still know the honey I miss,
and it goes something like this.
Lip to lip snuggled up tight,
making love on a moonlit night.
Stevie Wonder warned us
about superstition everywhere,
no one ever warned me that of
sweet love we should beware.
