Broken Wing

Just wanted to be cuddled,
Blinded by a slap,
Broken wing floats beneath clouds,
Lands in tears puddled.

Reminded me of all the children who only just want love even from abusive parents. They still come close and hope everytime that slap will be replaced with a hug. Well Done! Deborah
