“...The best way out of a difficulty is through it...”
---Robert Frost---
(1875-1963) American Poet

I

Torrent streams of water
the glass wall impenetrable
to count the drops of time
faltered only by nature
formed in an echo of sound
crucible of hope
scornful to all

II

May I not grasp the telling

of truth be not

Is it honest weights and measures

to calm a storm
Impossible!
to seed a dream indeed
a scorn may I not
dissipate
the true meaning of
life in the blue...

III

Caressing the grounded reef
and pulled forward to
sink in time untold
Life of waves of blue
mixed with white tops
scorned to tell of me not

IV
to grow old
when test of time all bent
forward to see all made known
Yes, I do recall
how I stood tall on
the crest of a wave
the silent power of
mother nature played well
of sequined blue and white

V
Covered by the sunshine of
the precipice to seek now
of old memories
Go...we must
to avoid the time passed

VI
Just my board and I
on a wake of crystal blue
reaching below and ahead
in time reached for us to know
No time to stop but

I must pull forward to make it

VII

I save the best for the rest

never let go of the dream
Yeah, I know my weaknesses

for told to the time go astray

sleep if you must
but that’s not me

Success is a must though elusive

Go, I shall,

I will on the tip of this wave.

Myles, this poem capture the beauty that bound your soul to the water.
A beautiful poem. I have never been on a surf board, though I have been to Hawaii, seeing many a surfers' on the water. I can only imagine the train of beauty and thought's that rush through ones mind
riding the waves.
