Kingdom Of The Old Compare
Assemble here beside the brook
And watch the stars with a subtle look
No sheltered tears shall shadow fears
For I am humble when you’re near
Enigma behold me in this enlightened state
For now I wait beside still waters near the lake
Where the moon was shadowed, but I could still see light
As I cling to my breath, in the still of the night
Indifferent as the indigenous are
I have no time for fast women or fancy cars
Pivot now with porcelain thongs
I do not wish to here the sums
Self-satisfaction is mine and mine alone
I have nowhere or will to roam
Solitary thoughts came to clouded my mind
Immersed in all this riddle and rhyme
I had seen the flurry of endless floods
And bath beside the river of blood
Sheltered shadows would they speak
For my body has grown so tired and so weak
Kingdom of the old compare, for here I stand in gentle stare
