Who hasn't snuck home from work for a quickie in the afternoon?

Artificial Love Night

By: Fee

wordless foreplay

in meek shadows

perfumed by

the wild rose

free scented air

carried on

summer breeze

performs a living prose

moans and groans

both him and her

in a bland sepia

colored flesh tone

must forgo

sweat stained

pillow talk

no trivial wasting

time alone

curtains closed

for artificial night

in the middle

of the afternoon

love ticks away

as seconds sweep

over all too soon

children’s laughter

outside the glass

just doesn’t fit

orgasmic state

and muffled scream

on tender neck

their bedeviled

clandestine date

Well done, Fee. I think. Never cared much for those
hot damn, thank you ma'am, trysts. But its better than
a martini lunch. -gene.

I love this one. You captured the moment so well. A terrible thing when a couple can't seem to find that right moment to be together, alone...You know what I mean. Then, when it arrives, well the door bell rings, or the phone. Even the kids, who had somewhere else to be decide to come home. I just love it when they say, whats up? Lol...

LOL:) A quick stolen moment creates a rush like no other. You capture that "quick" feeling with burst-like imagery throughout. Way to write, Fee. Love and Hugs.
