Mischief drove the sun to
take huge bites out of my
cotton candy: look. Right
there. See the teeth marks? Not
fair. It was mine. She is
always nibbling away
at my snacks --- you should see
what she did to my ice
cream cone! Licked it and licked
it until it melted.

Love the picture.....I took some almost the same last evening. Hmmmm....I wonder just how much cotton candy the sun ate? This poem is amusing, playful, and fun to read. I like the way you use the elements to create a story in a few words. Wonderful work!
Smiles,
Dorothy |

I love the imagery in this-- implied, not over-stated. And it allows my mind to go wild-- a regular carnival of a feast I had, chewing on your sky-candy. --Charlie
BTW:(amend "see" to "she")... awesome poem! I've missed reading you. There are simply too many poems for me to catch up... so if there's one or two in particular you'd like me to see, message me. :) (I'm done with my little project!!) (oooo, I'm SO done with it)
