You were with me ,
when I became a mother,
had my first born son

Sound advise and admonishions
came freely from your
golden heart

You saw my childern
grow, watched their
new families start


You were always there
to understand, always
lent a helping hand

Treasured thoughts of
you remain, as life's
seasons come and go
