Save me

Save me from those souls who are lost.
Lost, left behind somewhere along the way,
without a heart to find.

Save me from their darkness.
Darkness keeps them from simply seeing themselves in the mirror. It may be impossible for lost souls to see their reflection. For, they are lost and at times indefinitely. Yet, their search goes on.

Save me from their anger.
Fleeing from the past, from the pain, they cling to another who is complete. Then as they release their own heart filled anger upon their new claimed love, they cannot see the harm placed upon another.

Save me from their hold.
Innocent as they may be, save me.
Their grasp is so strong, I remain sorrowful longing to save them, knowing all along one cannot save another.

Wholeness is a reflection of the self.
And I cannot save them, so Save Me...
