Memories of vacation...

Six Am – She walks on the sand

Of the Mediterranean Sea

Soft and warm beneath her feet –

Waves gently caressing her ankles.

She is one of an elite group –

Sixteen early morning risers

Enjoying a quiet moment of solitude.

Smiling, she looks up at the sun in the vast

Cerulean sky, while slowly walking out with

The tide, enjoying this piece of Paradise.

And what a piece of paradise it sounds like! There is romanticism in the very word "Mediterranean Sea". One can just imagine beautiful sunsets reflected on sandy beaches and lovers strolling along its shores. Good write.

Beautiful beach, Glad you had the opportunity to walk on the sand and enjoy the waves. Like to do that too when at the ocean. My favorite thing is letting the waves caress my angles as you said. Solitude is surely found at the ocean too like you say. Bringing smiles to me just to have you back on the den with this photo and write.

I truly can feel what you have written, having walked those shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It's quite unique, we have both written of our fond memories this morning. Visit my poem, Tuscan Sun, and feel that sunshine once more.
Much peace, love, and light,
