Nothing is the same now
Nothingís a lie, nothingís true
Nothing seems to hold meaning
Everything is nothing without you
I canít go on like nothingís changed
I canít just get over it and let it go
Not when it stares me in the mirror each morning
Not as long as I still know
And I know you died a hero
You were always my hero, too
At night I dream this is all a lie
And dawn breaks screaming itís true
And nothing is quite the same now
The truthís a lie, lies are true
And something is just nothing now
Does anything matter without you
I seem to be standing still
While life goes on around me
Days go by, seasons change
And I didnít even see
This is a kind of living death
My own little corner of hell
Itís lonely and hopeless deep in my heart
Itís a feeling I know well
How can you be gone
When I still need you every day
How can there be nothing left of you
And those left behind just pay and pay
For nothingís quite the same now
I canít tell a lie from the truth
I canít make sense of anything
Nothing will ever be the same without you
So this is where I find myself
In the middle of no manís land
Afraid to move ahead and leave you behind
Afraid to let go of your hand
I want so badly to have you back
To make things as they were before
I want our life given back to us
Nothing less, nothing more
And nothing will ever be the same again
For some lies are really true
All thatís left are photos and memories
Thatís all I have of you
Everything is different
Thereís this space inside my heart
Itís aching for something to fill it
But I donít know how to start
And nothing will ever be the same now
And I will never forget that day
The day our lives changed forever
And I have to somehow find a way
If you can lend me some strength, a hand to hold
While I try to find my way through
Though nothing will ever be the same
Iíll never stop loving you
