"Now as we baby-boomers keep aging"

And Along with These to Sniff Beneath Trees

When dozing hobos roll over and pee
Into the grass I hope it will not be
Right in the spot where you might sit today

You might have to sniff beneath every tree
And then end up getting wet anyway
Which is pretty much what happened to me
I just hope that never happens to you

Now as we baby-boomers keep aging
We are starting to learn about staging
From all of the drama we have lived through

Blocking and lighting and all sorts of things
Like dialogue and throwing wedding rings
And along with these to sniff beneath trees
Where we wonder what we should feel or say

When dozing hobos roll over and go
Into the grass just make sure that you know
Right in the spot where you might lie tonight

Life goes too fast when we live it too slow
And goes too slow when we live it too fast
A lifetime of balance lifts up at last
That not to haste nor waste is to live right

Hobos pee there where hormones are raging
Now as we baby-boomers keep aging
