Just the truth

†Iím one of the most responsible guys youíll ever find, and yet Iíve jumped across roofs and have stolen people shoes.
Iíve felt the warmth of many girls, but have my heart gets colder with each touch of them.
All the emotions in the world cannot describe what Iím feeling within me.
Iím not the smartest boy around and yet Iím seen as one of them.
Iím not very gay and yet I feel like I should be in a parade.
I long for the touch of another man but recoiling at all who want me.

I have tons of faults
Though none ever say
For what I am
Is covered in dismay.

I like this-good poetry poses questions that don't necessarily have answers, and it is only the simplest of minds who cannot bridge their own thoughts to what completion might yet come. I dont see a problem with self, either, you are just stating the contradictions that we all have within us, which, is only a problem if we don't like ourselves. I really think it is ludcirous for one poet to tell
another where their poem was meant to end. I would love to read more of your work. Michelle

Perhaps a chance to step back and learn who it is you really are. Somewhere in your heart and soul you will find the truth and from there begin to build a life that is fitting for you. The peace that comes from within will, over time radiate outward and from there gain inner strength. Godspeed to you...

Be always safe,
Karen
