Talk about paranoia...

Hopefully it just stays a fiction of the sciences...

I just read a book,

Called “Category Seven”,

Of catastrophic stories I seem to like,

What with hurricanes like Katrina,

And just this past weekend, Ike…

Then I dream of even a Cat five,

Hitting New Jersey and such,

I am but inland but miles thirty-5,

A good high gust of wind,

And away would blow Rufuz & I,

A trailer slash motorhome,

Is no place to live with winds very much…

Scary though thoughts like that may be,

I know it will come one day again, you’ll see,

Where in this great land should I move,

I think there is no place safe totally in this whole country,

So I guess that Rufuz & I would be just so much debris...

We had hurricane force winds in Kentucky from Ike. I can't imagine living on a coast. But remember, you will never be just debris. Wonderful write.

The storms of nature come and go just as the storms of ups and downs come into our life. Storms pass, it is a bright new day and we are on our way,

don't know the book, but this IKE was enough to scare anyone into a nightmare

Think I know what book you're talking about: was it written by Bill Evans and Marianna Jameson? If so, THAT'S the one I read last week! You're right: very good book, and what's scary is it could come true. (Thanks, Ed says.) An excellent write of Nature gone mad.

(((HUGS))) and love, and no hurricane dreams for you, Karla.

How about placing some sandbags on top and around your trailer, would that help steady it in place? I wish I had a better solution. Just the thought of it makes me worry about you two. You and Rufuz take good care of each other. Okay?

I'll be praying for your both.

Heartbreaking write, Ed; I hope you find solace in those who love and care for you! You are in my prayers; in fact, we prayed for you tonight at church small group!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

Please take care of yourself; we need you here! And no reading scary books before bed!! YIKES!!

Such a sad write my friend. Are you alright? You are safe, no storm would dare to upset Rufuz. Love, Bonnie
