“Her philosophy is to cut, kill, dig, and drill.

She is in the Stone Age of wildlife management;

And she is very opposed to utilizing accepted science.”

John Toppenberg,

Director of the Alaska Wildlife Alliance

Music: All In The Family

Karl Rove writes speeches for both of them

On Anti-Environmental issues, they’re real pals

They’ll both tell you more drilling, will save you

George must really be in love, with their new gal

Under his reign, the Endangered Species Act is gutted

And our national parks are being torn apart, everywhere

Under her reign, in Alaska, wolves are being exterminated

And very soon, there won’t be one single, surviving, bear

George Bush took no action, to help our polluted rivers

And now, America’s salmon fishery has totally collapsed

In Alaska, she promotes the world’s largest open pit mine

Very soon, the only salmon run in America, will be in our past

And although in public, she never even mentions his name

Behind the scenes, she is coached by many Bush advisors

The very same people who brought us eight abysmal years

But she and Senator McCain hope none of us are the wiser

Is this really ‘the change’ we all crave in America, today?

Do we really want four more atrocious years, of the same?

Although I’m not all that enchanted, with those other guys

Promoting her as an ‘Advocate of Change’ is truly a shame

Among Her Team Of Behind The Scenes Advisors:

Karl Rove – George Bush’s Right Hand Man

Steve Biegun – Bush’s National Security Counsel

Maria Camella – Bush’s 2004 Reelection Campaign

Nicolle Wallace – Bush’s 2004 Reelection Campaign

And Taylor Griffin – One of Bush’s Economic Advisors

Even though Bush does promote this kind of behavior he has so many followers. Almost no one I know think there's anything wrong with it all and even though i try to tell them its made me be known as the weird person who thinks the earth is going to hell. Great write. I totally agree with you too.

Interesting article on pro's and con's for the McCain team, but where are the pro's and con's for the Obama team?? I have been watching, reading and listening to both sides so when it comes time to vote I believe I will be fully informed....

Be always safe,
Karen

Admire you expose' article, Ed. People need to know and acknowledge truths!
My prayers, and vote, is that this election's outcome will be for the People and our nation! We (people and nation) cannot survive another four years of same-old greedy screw-ups!
I simply do not understand all the "adoration" for Palin by so many (or maybe they are just blubbering louder)? These are patriots???? C'mon..."Wake Up America"*!

I don't think the other two are much better, but at least they don't advertise their anti-enviromental feelings, yet...and voting independent doesn't work & we all know Rufuz is just for fun, so where does that leave us...Does the word "SCREWED" pretty much say it...?Ed

Excellently penned, educational, informative...and heartbreaking. Sad, Ed, when the defenseless have no choice. They do have a voice in you, who cares.

Maybe we could sell back to a Russian Tzar Alaska, they wouldn't dare to drill, do they? and we will have Palin at the other side of the border!
As I told Jersey, you, him, Rufuz and me with a few crates of Coors we can see how the two circus in town dope the Nation, again.
