This is the first of the two only poems I wrote so enjoy it

A Dead World

I wake up in the morning and shower
I drink a cup of coffee
And the reruns of
Some ten year old sitcome every morning
I put on a tag
And work at the same dead end job every day
I can tell you how many kids are playing on the playgroun
I can tell yo who and how many people are waiting for the bus
I can tell you that my neigbor Joe
HItís the snooze button three time before he gets up
Nothing ever changes
Itís the same thing every day
I donít know how itc came to this town
It sees hard to believe
People seem more dead than alive
Most just hate their lives
Rather than shoot for something higher
I sit wondering how tings could become this way
How much I wish they werenít
OI feel trapped doing the same
As everyone else
This seems to somehow be
A world that is completely dead on itís feet
Never really matters
If there is a way out
Please
Some one tell me how

There are many ways out, and what's good for one, isn't ecesserialy right for another.

You will find yours.

Take care.
