a poem

It is a simple word that heals the soul.

A forgiving word

A smiling word

That says no matter what

You're human

You're alive

You are my friend

In a crowd full of people

That look to the cool

I may not always measure up

But I stand tall

And like myself

I feel happy in my heart

Because I want to smile

I am blessed

With a happy heart

That embraces each moment

Of life

It is easy to follow the crowd

To seek acceptance

From others

And sometimes your worst

Enemy lies within

Your own mind

It's you

If you love yourself

Despite what the world

You can be free

Fully happy

Because the world will

keep spinning

The sun will come up tommorrow

Sure there will be problems

And tears and smiles

But they come from within YOU

You can't depend on others to

Keep you happy

Happiness Just IS

Close your eyes

And feel the silence

Let the joy bubble up inside you

And smile

No matter what kind of day

You are having

This moment will not be the

Same again.

There is no one quite like you

And that is reason to

Be happy

And please don't hate the world

Remember your friends

care and they

love you

Just the way you are

Have a happy

Beautiful day

Hold your head up high

I like the word

it is the most

word in the

Let the sunshine

in your life

Very ositive again from you. I think like you do mostly. I am very tired tonght but reviewed some of your writes. Always willing to help you be yourself as I try to be myself too. Sometimes it's hard but we survive at it. Life isn't always easy to get by with either.
