Gathering of the Ancients

Specially dedicated to one who THINKS she see's the light.

Gather 'round all ye ancients:
send out the word, cast protections spells…
guard yourselves.

My sisters, look to the ancients;
We will protect you with hearts. Minds and souls

I know who you are,
I know what you do,
preaching of light,
yet worshipping the dark.

'ware of the mirrors turned out
your pride will turn them inwards
and destroy you

Who will protect you
from Our Mothers wrath?

'ware lady 'ware,
for you know not who you fight.

I think perhaps these lines say alot more then most may read...

preaching of light,
yet worshipping the dark.

As always, a pleasure to read your poetry...

Lisa,
You know this is my absolute favorite of yours! It has a permanent home on my site and in my heart!

This stanza...
"'ware of the mirrors turned out
your pride will turn them inwards
and destroy you"
It is soooooo powerful, and not to mention the wording itself is wicked good!
Am on my way to send you an e-mail, me thinks you and I have a few things to catch up on!

Love You,
Maria
