... jerked by small men with all the power --- ....
I'm giving a bad name to this poor little bug. LOL
Sorry: this popped into my head and had to be written.
|
... claptrap jaws flapping in the
wind, puppets with hollow eyes
and useless limbs jerked by
small men with all the power ---
hidden interests controlling
the strings. We, the Republic
for which they are supposed to
stand, sit in front of the TV,
watching with apathetic eyes
as they interrupt our regularly
scheduled program with the
same old gobbledygook ---
if we do not get out and vote,
who will the real dummies be?

| well said Karla -- a new Congress would be a good start to eliminating many of our financial woes -- earmarks and pork have robbed us blind -- they have taken more than $2 trillion from the social security fund and left I.O.U.'s that they will never repay -- and then they tell us that the system may go broke and needs to be fixed -- keeping their thieving hands out is all that is needed -- corruption runs deep inside of the Beltway -- peace and wishes for a marvelous day -- JMW |

A vote is a terrible this to waste
If you don't vote
Don't complain
if you vote
after the count
all the BS will remain the same,
New management, same old "Caca"

Love & peace be with you, dear friend Karla |

| Well said! We, the voters, used to be blamed for all the inept politicians, but its time we realize it isn't our fault. The fault lies with the fact there are no worthwhile cadidates to vote for in this presidential race. |

You and that dratted bug. Where's my swatter :-)
I say we will be best off, this time, voting for Rufuz. When the Congress gets down wrong, he will at least bite them, which is more than I can say about either of our present candidates. Every day, each one of them gets his new speech from his advisors. Amazingly enough, in both cases, the speech is entitled "Gobbledygook" -- and one must wonder about the mentally-challenged crowds doing all that cheering. I will certainly vote, but I wish we had better options this time.

| who to vote for, well theres always Rufuz, though that is in fun, I cannot see who else there is this time...I may not get my voter card anyway in time, thanks to NJ and its slow response regards my paperwork...but what is new, as NJ is fast at getting fines or taxes paid, but when it comes to doing the right thing, well...e |

| Well said Karla. But who the heck are we going to vote for? Do we really get a choice or are we simply being set up? What an unbelievably wacko election year this is. And to think just 4 years ago I was willing to fight and die for these jerks who care not about us. I gotta be honest with you Karla; there are times I wish I didn't make it back here alive to witness my country's downfall. This has got to be one of the saddest of my 56 years in this country. It's all so, so sad. |

We are only asking for trouble if we don't vote or stand up for our nation! Enough is enough; it's time to give America back to the people instead of the electoral college or the constituants, and start all over again; vote for whom we feel is better suited for the job of Commander-in-Chief; it surely isn't the two who are in the running now! And God help us if the one (Osama) gets in!!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :(
Excellent write and call for action, Karla; brava! |
