Standing among the colorful trees
in all their autumnal glory
thinking how blessed we writers are
to be able to tell their story

I thought of all my poet friends at AD
and how each share  a unique view
telling of the fall season in all its beauty
each with a poetic gem to offer you

As I delight in this uplifting fall day
I'm thrilled with the analogies I find
among what my poet friends have to say
their poems always inspire my mind

With Autumns beauty they are combined
because this is my favorite time of year
their comments on my poetry are divine
in my heart they are held most dear

Thank you for your encouraging support of
my work over the years! You're the greatest!!!

Walt Whitman would be ignored without Ralph Waldo Emerson; and so would be Frédéric Chopin without author Georg Sand; (Amandine Aurore Lucile Dupin) ~ Aristotle without Plato and vice versa; ~ and AuthorsDen wouldn't be this wonderful community without the presence and dedication of Poet Eileen T Waldron.

Much gratitude to You, Poet Eileen T. Waldron for sharing this jewel with us. "Autumn and AD Poets" shines.

In admiration,

Autumn is certainly the season for celebrating mutual diversity, abundance and growth. We are as alike and different as leaves on a tree, each dancing to the same wind of Muse according to our own unique nature. Thank you for the beauty and colour of your own special place on the AD tree, Eileen. Your photosynthesis feeds us all! :)) xx

You have returned to us more than we could ever give to you. Cold winds have sent my impatiens to sleep until I plant them anew in the spring. My Dahlias are still blooming as if it was summer but soon I will have to cut them back also. Roses still continue to bloom but they also will now be cut back before winter wind freezes their lovely blossoms.
